Dr Ruby Rashid
MBBS, MPH, DRANZCOG, AMC
Dr Ruby Rashid graduated with (MBBS) Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree from Punjab University, Lahore Pakistan, in 1987 and (BSc) Bachelor of Science in 1988.
After her initial training and extensive work experience, she came to Australia finished her post-graduation studies at the University of NSW, obtaining her Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) in 2007 and started working in Tertiary Care Hospitals in Sydney. In the meantime, she received Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification in 2013. She is also a Fellow of RANZCOG, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and was conferred with DRANZCOG in 2014.
She is adept at handling cases related to acute medicine and chronic illnesses, oncology and palliative care including travel medicine and corporate health services. She is proficient in managing issues unique to Women Health including perinatal/ antenatal/ postnatal care, gynaecological problems which can impact functioning and quality of life.
Dr Rashid enjoys working as a GP, providing care to her patients and their families, investing the time to get to know them, problem solving, and delivering quality healthcare.
